Jay Stebb is a jazz saxophonist with a passion for expression, creativity and development.

With a BA (Hons) in Jazz from Leeds College of Music and a Diploma in Jazz Saxophone from London College of Music, he has a passion for development and expression through music, both in his own playing and in helping others.

He currently performs regular gigs with a number of bands, including Big Bands and Funk & Soul Bands. He also plays with his own Jazz Ensembles that play a mixed repertoire of old and new jazz songs. They are currently available to book for your function. For more information go to the gigs page.

As a jazz educator, Jay offers easy to understand information in a concise way. Whether it’s in a workshop, a private session or one of his jazz improvisation books (available in the shop), the knowledge Jay has on the subject is matched with his ability to bring it to life and make it enjoyable. He has a deep understanding of what it takes to progress, which allows the student to develop their improvisation whilst maintaining their creativity and personality.
